General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) – Abnoba Tours
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the terms and conditions for booking, payment, and participation in excursions organized by Abnoba Tours.
The primary activity of Abnoba Tours is the transportation of passengers in a 9-seat minibus for one-day excursions departing from Strasbourg to the Black Forest.
2. Booking and Payment
- Excursion bookings can be made online via the Abnoba Tours website or through any other means made available to customers.
- Full payment is required to confirm the booking.
- Payments may be made by credit card, bank transfer, or any other payment method specified at the time of booking.
- A booking confirmation will be sent by email once payment has been successfully processed.
3. Prices and Included Services
- Excursion prices are listed in euros (€) and are inclusive of all taxes (VAT included).
- Unless otherwise stated, the price includes :
- Transportation by minibus to and from Strasbourg
- Transfers between the various sites listed in the itinerary
- The presence of a driver guide accompanying the group
- The price does not include :
- Meals and beverages
- Admission fees to visited sites (such as castles, museums, waterfalls, etc.), unless specifically mentioned in the excursion description
- Personal expenses and any service not expressly stated as included
4. Cancellation and Modification Policy
Cancellation by the client
- All cancellations must be communicated to Abnoba Tours via email.
- Applicable cancellation fees:
- More than 48 hours before the excursion date: full refund.
- Between 48 and 24 hours before departure: 50% of the total amount.
- Less than 24 hours before departure: no refund.
- No refund will be granted in case of a no-show at the departure point.
- It is possible to purchase cancellation insurance covering the full amount paid, valid until the time of departure.
Modification or cancellation by Abnoba Tours
- Abnoba Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify an excursion in the event of exceptional circumstances (extreme weather conditions, vehicle unavailability, insufficient number of participants, etc.)
- In the event of cancellation by Abnoba Tours, a full refund will be offered, or, if possible, the excursion may be rescheduled to a later date.
5. Liability
- Abnoba Tours undertakes to transport passengers in accordance with the applicable regulations (Transport Code, regulations governing public passenger transport vehicles, road safety).
- Participants are required to follow the safety instructions provided by the driver and to adhere to the indicated schedules.
- Abnoba Tours cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items during the excursion.
- Abnoba Tours shall not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (traffic jams, road checks, adverse weather conditions, etc.)
6. Insurance
- Abnoba Tours is covered by professional liability insurance, in accordance with the legal obligations applicable to passenger transport operators.
- Participants are advised to take out personal insurance covering cancellations, accidents, or incidents that may occur during the excursion.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. If no agreement is reached, the competent courts shall be those within the jurisdiction of Abnoba Tours’ registered office.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
